"Saint Joseph's Institution NCC (Land) Company Diary," this mangled and torn book denotes.. it looked very much like the "Half-Blood Prince" potions book, with e exception of that symbolic lion of SJI NCC in the middle. No matter how uninteresting it may look in the outside, what's most important is hidden inside every page of this diary.. I only know the existence of this diary recently when we got our postings, this particular diary had been passed down from one CSM to another since 1983.. there mayb other old diaries for other years since 1906 the beginning of SJI NCC, but looking at this diary, i immediately felt this warm aura surrounding me, engulfin me into this moment of grand, wonder.. okay, i mayb exaggeratin a little, but immediately i became quite attached to this diary..its so cool to think tht my predecessors were actually so united in thier post as CSMs last time.. they actually came up with somethin like tht so tht each of us who possess it can learn from the past mistakes and lessons bout life in it.. i was really honoured tht i am also part of this tradition,a tradition tht already exists long be4 i was born, long be4 i was even aware of NCC, or even SJI..

i flipped thru the dusty pages, lookin at some of their comments thru the years..and there are really a lotta facts bout NCC at tht time tht we will nv hav found out about.. there are entries when they actually wrote bout the many lessons they had learnt, the mistakes they had made.. and juz bout anythin of SJI from 1983.. every page i turned, i looked in awe as i found out more interesting facts bout SJI and even meaningful stories bout life too..

as this book is passed down to me now.. i hav the responsibility of continuing this legacy, continuing to pass on this small yet so meaningful passion tht will really help build up SJI NCC.. i will write about the things tht i hav learn thru trainings, thru leading as a csm, so tht like they have done to me, i can now continue to pass on what i hav learn in life, continue this wonderful way of communication, continue to motivate and be part of this tradition, for the future csms of sji ncc (land).. i am really proud of being part of history and i will cherish this time as a csm really well and be there for the cadets as much as possible..i will do my best. becoz this is my life, and i want it this way, i want to help as many ppl as possible thru the course of my whole life..

i took one more glance at tht book, now rested nicely on the table, 22years of history, lets make it one more year, i already feel the urge to write now, because i noe that the nxt csms will surely read them somehow..

already on the first day being a specialist, life hav really changed alot.. and yes, this 100th year of hard work and perseverance of sji ncc will not be wasted on our hands, we, as e cetennial specialists, will bring it up further..
